RISE organizes occasional volunteer events in the farm and around Syracuse, particularly to assist in the work of developing new sites for agriculture. This work can include constructing garden beds, moving compost, mulch, and other materials, and other similar physical work that involves lifting, squatting, kneeling, etc.
